Fund, we had an incredible opportunity to delve into the context of 24 rural schools from each region that received the status of “support” in the process of decentralization reform. We expected to see different things: from schools without a roof and any infrastructure to a complete “staff shortage”, but behind all the problems and challenges, we saw the most important thing: often the school is the only living organism in the community.
The challenge 2.0 for the country today is to empower the school to create value for the community. Perhaps you will say that urbanization will swallow us up, and that by 2050 70% of the world’s population will live in large cities. However, today (and possibly in 2050) the fate of large cities is determined by a minority. Brexit, Trump’s election — signal to us this constant. So can we afford not to work on the development of small communities and their core?
